As some of you know, I'm a big fat girl.
That's right - I'm a fattie. I've been fat my entire life - grew up with *lots* of issues, and food was my escape and way of dealing. A few years ago I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer - had to have (2) surgeries to get my thyroid taken out - so I've got that going against me now too. I still battle with the thyroid issue - on a thyroid hormone, and I have radiation treatment once a year...fun fun. So anyway, in all my years I have only gotten serious about losing weight just one time and that was the year before last: I LOST 145 POUNDS!!
I was the hottest fat chick you'll ever see - heh. But, I've since put most of it back on.

Well now I've gone and busted up my knee, and carrying the weight does not make it any easier for me to get around. That was sort of my wake-up-call to get back on my plan and get the weight off - again....and hopefully for the last time.
So here it is, January 5, 2009 - and I AM BACK ON!
I will weigh-in every Monday and post over there on the side ------------->
my progress. You can support and encourage me...or you can say nothing, it's all good.
JUST DON'T BE A HATER; I hate haters.

Michelle no one understands your battle with weight than me. I think it's great that you are willing to try again. I know you were very proud of yourself when you lost all that weight. I too have a mission of loosing weight. Since Sept. I am down 15 lbs but I still would ultimately like to loose another 50-60 lbs to be healthy. With my medical issues that I have going on right now I don't know if it's possible but we will see.
Anyways you have my support and encouragement! I know you can do it! I will be watching the side bar!
Girl, you made me cry! I know you really want to lose that weight and I KNOW you can do it! You've done it before and can do it again.
You've got my support and you know you can call or email me anytime!
Hope the knee can be fixed up soon too!
I'm glad you decided to get back on track. Let me know what I can do to help. I do want to encourage you to do physical therapy to work on that knee. Best of luck. I'll be cheering you on, and maybe I can drop some weight, too.
You know I have your back, girl! You'll do it again! :)
