After church this morning, the kids are going to grandma's for the rest of the day and Rob is going out geocaching.
That means it's just me, NASCAR and cards - - love it!
Thanks for stopping in - and have a wonderful Sunday.

Thanks for stopping in today.
Thanks for stopping in today!
And for those of you that are interested in blog candy - Miss Marti from Pez-A-Doodle has a lil' sumpin'-sumpin' on her blog today *wink*
Have a great day!
This month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop had a theme of summer - specifically using yellow as it is the warm weather summer color. I've never been a huge fan of Lemon Tart, but I'm starting to warm up to it - get it? warm up *giggles*
I made simple 5.5x4.25 notecards (the kind that don't open) that one would use for a quick thank-you note. I used the Bitty Baby Blessings paper pack that I don't seem to turn to very often and I think it's because of the name - I forget that there are papers in here that can be used for things other than baby cards.
I only have two big alphabet stamp sets - a Martha Stewart Christmas one, and this one that I think is Marcella K from Target that I bought when I first got into cardmaking (so long ago - 5 months LOL).
I used Papertrey's Everyday Blessings set to stamp the envelopes and a little tag on the front of the packaging.
I packaged the set of 8 notecards and 8 envelopes in a Clearly Creative Card Box from Papertrey, tied it up with some Lemon Tart Saddle Stitch ribbon and I was done.

Enjoy your Sunday!!
Hope you are having a great Holiday weekend!
Thanks for stopping by today.
This second card is another Rachael Ray card - 30-minutes or less, more like 15! For all you working moms out there with no time to create - no excuses! Super easy, super fun - really, if you are going for quick, the best thing to do is use paper that packs a punch, and use border punches - makes the card look a lot fancier than it really is *wink*
Hope your Friday is off-the-chain FAB!

4. Paper Temptress' blog - today is my day over there as well. I don't think I have seen any of y'all over there evah! Sounds like I might need to offer some incentive to come visit...hmmm.... Patricia's got another sale this month 25% off the entire metallic line; check it out, it's hot stuff. Here's the card I made this week featuring Paper Temptress paper....:
5. You know I am loyal to the 208 {that's the area code for Idaho *wink*}. You also know that challenges aren't my thing. But, I thought I'd show some support and give Rachel's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge a go this week since she is right here in Boise. This is the picture your creation was to be inspired by....
...yeah, me and challenges don't get along that well. All this inspired me to do was to eat carbs and lots of them. *sigh* I got some polka dots in there....the colors to match the cupcakes....a bow like on top of the cupcake but seriously, I really just want a cupcake - LOL
Hope your week starts of with a great Monday.
Thanks for stopping in - much appreciated!
BasicGrey paper paired with Papertrey stamps, buttons and ribbons - what a beautiful thing.

Have you entered my blog candy giveaway yet? Details on that can be found HERE.
Have a sunny day!

This last card - from me - I used the new Lime Rickey paper pad from BasicGrey that I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I just placed another order from there - Miss Lindsey always has good clearance - and I picked up some Cosmo Cricket Christmas rub-ons and this really neat transparency from Prima. No idea what I'm going do with it - it's very intimidating now that I have it in hand. Anywho, that's the story on the paper.... I love the little {heart} u stamp from one of the Studio G Series 30 Father's Day sets - it fits perfectly in a teeny Nesties Labels Four and I have used it exactly that same way in a ribbon treatment before.

Alright, Girls - hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping in today!
Don't forget my blog candy opportunity HERE; thanks to the girls who already have signed up! - - LOVE it!!
I had not yet tried the Silver Lace German Scrap I got from Pez-A-Doodle and thought to try it with the light greens that I have here - Spring Moss from Papertrey Ink, BasicGrey's Wisteria that I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments, some Scenic Route striped DP and some leftover Polka Dot Parade also from Papertrey Ink.
As we establish our roots in the community with school and pre-school and church, and now that we have kids that are school-age, we get invited to a fair amount of birthday parties. I had this one tiny piece of Cosmo Cricket paper leftover from the Honey Pie pack I used often at Easter time, inked up another new Verve stamp and embellished with some Dew Drops that were sitting on my table and we're ready for the next girl party. Both my kids have this bad habit of not getting the invitation to me until the day before or sometimes the day of - so it's good to have cards at-the-ready.
Don't forget about my Studio G blog-candy opportunity HERE.
Have a ghetto-fabulous day!
And this is the card that my little princess will be giving her daddy for Father's Day.
She is a TOTAL Daddy's Girl and this lil' stamp from Studio G was perfect for her card!
Alright girls, I have a request, a plea, I'm begging. I don't know anybody over there at PCP! *cries* I feel like I'm all alone on an island *sniffles* Now granted, Miss Marti and Catherine are super cool and fun chicas, but, you know, we ain't comfortable like I am with some of you over at SCS. So, yes, I am bribing you - with Studio G goodness - to come and join the Studio G group over at PCP. It's very slow moving, the groups are small, just check in once a week or something, comment on the challenges, or, gee, I dunno, go buy yourself a $1 pack of Studio G stamps and actually make a card! Woooo - now THERE's a thought!!
So here's what you do - you go HERE to sign up for PCP. Once there, you are going to look for the group Studio G Collectors and then you're going to join it. It's not high-maintenance at all, it's mellow, and it's fun - and hey, I'm there! *laughs* So do all that and when you're fully joined, put yourself down here in the Mister Linky thingy (I pay for this thing so I'm using it on all my sites now - ha) and one-week from today, I'll announce the winner of the Studio G goodness you see below:
- (5) brand new Series 32 stamps (one of them is the pet one), a couple of little mounting blocks, Series 30 Fire Up The Grill stamp set, (3) Studio G ink pads with (3) matching Studio G Glitter Glues, and, not Studio G but equally cool - a little bag of 4 different colors of Pez-A-Bling!
THIS JUST IN - - Pez-A-Doodle clearance going on now. Lots of ink like that super cool Kaleidacolor rainbow ink pad.
Stock up, Girls!
Have a Happy Day - and thanks for stopping by!

I made this little travel trailer card for my friend Vicki's birthday a couple of weeks ago.
I love Cosmo Cricket paper - they have the cutest stuff!
Sneak peeks of my new Digiments (digital stamp sentiments) start today over at the store blog. So be sure and head over there and check that out. The inaugural new releases go on sale tomorrow morning at 4am. You have until the end of the day today to win the entire new release by making a card with the free Digiment found HERE.
Be sure and come back tomorrow where I'll be showing you something totally new that I made....and, there'll also be a little blog-candy to go along with.
Thanks for stopping in - and have a great day!

And this last card - hmm...how can I explain. So I submitted this for publication - and it was accepted - that's great, right? Not so much. I didn't read the fine print - it was for an e-zine. Who the heck wants to be published in an e-zine? Not me, that's who! LOL So anyway, I sent them my card - and then come to find out they are working on not being an e-zine but being a print pub. I don't think they had it all together, all I know is I made this card and now it's gone and who knows where it is - ha. So I'm gonna show it to y'all anyway! This card is made with part Verve and part Papertrey stamps - my mother-in-law is a Bible-thumper...this card was inspired by and for her...and it's my entry in to a little Verve contest celebrating the women in our lives.
Here's wishing you all a wonderful Sunday with your mother...or your kids - or just the people you love; it's a special day indeed.
Oh - and if you haven't already, check out my new Digiments blog - there's a little contest goin' on over there leading up to the release. And more contest goodness - Fun-Frilled we've got Papertrey goodies up for grabs this week!
Have a great Thursday (remember, it's Thursday for me *wink*).
And then I packaged them in a Clearly Creative Card Box from Papertrey Ink.
I remembered that at the Halloween party Mrs. Wilson told the kids to bring her some Reese's peanut butter cups the next day.
...and filled the jar with mini Reese's.
And then made a quick lil' card for my son to write in.
And I was done by 8:30 last night!! - that's even after getting home an hour late because I was hitting all the Walgreens' getting FREE toothpaste - LOL Buy a thing of toothpaste for $4.49 (rip-off!!) and then you get $4.50 off your next transaction. I am a couponing fiend!
