I made each of the kids a card for the 4th of July. I really do try and make a fuss for every holiday - maybe it's using special plates and napkins, or buying them something special like a pinwheel for the 4th of July parade - but now that I am making cards, I think it's important to make them a card for everything too. They see me making cards all the time, I know it makes them feel so special when they get one that I made just for them.
