What a lovely sentiment, don't you think? I needed a sentiment that would lend itself to an oval as this card is for this week's Jacksonbelle Embellishments sketch challenge. Oh momma did I struggle putting this one together. But once I pulled out my June Bug paper pack and coordinating stickers from BasicGrey - problem solved! I think that big oval sticker in the middle would normally be used to do journaling on scrapbook pages, but since I'm not into scrapbooking, and I don't believe in wasting anything, I thought this would work even though the sentiment isn't lined up on the journaling lines. If you're giving someone a card like this to let them know they are in your thoughts and prayers, do they really care about things like that? Nope!
I've also got some pretty green crepe ruche paper on here for some texture...with a base of red pepper columns which has lines scored in it as well (more texture without all the hassle!).

Happy Day, Girls!

what a fun card! :) love the variation on the stripes.
I love that saying...it is so perfect, and it does look great on an oval. Your stitching on this card is awesome! Can't wait to see what you make with the new cuttlebug folders.
I love the stitching! And the die cuts you used for the three strips. Awesome!
The stitching on this card is so cool. And I love those funky geometric lines coming down from the top of the card. Looks like you've become a quilter.
WOW! Your stitching is awesome on this, Michelle! I love your layout too!
