This card was a mistake.

Ever have one of those cards that was a mistake from the get-go? I bet you do....but are you brave enough to share it on your blog like I am? - haaaa. OK so see the interesting cut-out in the middle of the card? That is a Top Note cut gone wrong. But I saved the leftover piece because I save everything. I think it's kind of a cool look. Then I put those great BasicGrey die-cut stickers across the top and they're all sticky on the backside that is sticking up over the card so I'm thinking this is not a great idea. I have heard you can powder or scrub the sticky to take that effect away and I'm just not that thorough - ha. And do you notice the size of this card? It's sort of more slender than your normal A2 card? That's because my paper was crooked and then the flowers were crooked so instead of driving myself crazy I just left it alone and cut the excess off before I put my ribbon on. So - it's a thinner card....and it's a taller card...a taller stickier card - heh. But hey - it says thank you, so, hopefully the recipient will appreciate that I appreciate them!

Happy Happy Friday!

It sounded much worse than it looks. Those flowers are super pretty though, even if they are sticky. Way to be brave.

I definitely have mistake cards, but I'm not usually brave and don't share them. I love the patterned papers together, and the flowers look great (even if they are sticky). Enjoy your Friday!!!
