Happy Friday!
School Valentine parties are a week or less away, so let's get movin' on our projects, girls!
These are the treat bags I made for my daughter to hand out as her Valentines to her kindergarten class. Now they aren't overly kiddie, but she loves the colors and the flowers and the hearts and I think they will definitely stand out from all the store-bought Disney Princess and Transformer Valentines, don't you?
I used Papertrey Ink's new Simple Valentine patterned paper as my background, rounded the top and punched a heart border along the bottom. Then I rounded the top on pieces of white cardstock, stamped an image from Blooming Button Bits, and then made my flowers out of a little punched heart and some little punched circles topped with buttons. Yes - I did all this 25 times; madness, I know.

I had my daughter write the to/from names on each - - sidenote: don't be afraid to ask your child's teacher for the class list early so that you can get a head start on these - - and then adhered the entire piece to my glassine bag. I filled each bag with some Valentine Fun Dip, punched a couple of holes in the top and tied a pretty bow.
TGIF!
