....and here I am whining about MONDAY again - wah wah wah.
Sunday was pretty busy - church, laundry, getting all the grub ready for the Super Bowl party. Any time we make special food and have at least 1 person over, we call it a party - heh. Am I the only person that was disappointed with the commercials this year? There were a couple chucklers - loved the Doritos one with the crystal ball - but no real belly laughs.
D and I worked on the goodies that I am taking to his class Valentine party. I am taking these and then D is doing some candy bags with his Valentine. Aren't we sweet? These are more of those fantastic tubes from Papertrey Ink - filled with Valentine candy corn, Valentine m&ms (got DARK so that I wouldn't be tempted to sample because I abhor dark chocolate and then I thought about it as I was doing these - do kids even like dark chocolate??), and Conversation Hearts - it's not Valentine's without Conversation Hearts you know. I was going to stamp something and put it on there, or tie some ribbon around the top but figured the kids don't care, these are colorful and edible enough so why spend more money?
Papertrey is celebrating their 2-year anniversary so I had to work with some of their stuff this weekend. I reached for some of their Polka Dot Parade DP which I have never used along with some stamps that haven't seen ink yet either. I like this card - although I don't think it needed the stitching. I'm really watching my cards lately and trying to make more of them without a tied ribbon - just such a pain to try and shove in to an envelope and sometimes they don't make it in at all.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend like I did - and I hope this great weekend leads in to a great week. I am so ready to kiss last week goodbye. Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty cards as usual!!
I love the look of those candy tubes, they are so cool and I'm sure the 1st grade class will LOVE them!!!!
The commercials, yeah, they weren't very good. I liked the Budweiser clydesdales commercials, those horses are so beautiful. A couple Doritos ones were funny but that's it. The game was fantastic though!!
Way to go w/the weightloss. Hope it didn't dampen your Superbowl party.
You're even getting creative w/your pictures - nice arrangement of the candy tubes. And yes, there are plenty of kids who love dark chocolate. They're the ones who always tried to stay on my good side so I would share w/them. : )
Thanks for the reminder, Heather ...
I forgot to check your weightloss. Awesome job, girl! You're doing GREAT!! :)
