Quick post for today as I am in a *foul mood*.
Work yesterday was completely miserable....my BFF...well, I guess that would be my ex-BFF now :( still hates me and after a week and a half, I suppose I need to move on...and, guess what - BIG NEWS - I got turned down for another DT! That's 4 now for those of you keeping track at home - heh. I know you're tired of hearing about it, but you try getting sympathy from and explaining what an online design team is to a 4-year old!
Made some simple scrap cards. That means I made them with leftover pieces of CS & DP that I had in the box. Finally some scrap cards that I'm not totally ashamed of - although there is one more that I made last night that you will never see! I actually fancy the Dark Chocolate and Berry Sorbet one (that would be orange and brown in laymen terms - heh).

Edited to add: Just got to the office - I get here before everyone else - and we are announcing layoffs....and no more matching 401k. I can live without the matching 401k...but obviously not without my job. I'm management...and I think we are heavy on the management side....ugh....>deep breath<

Hey Girlfriend! I'm SO SORRY to hear that you are in a foul mood today. I have to tell you that I myself have been very BLAH and EXHAUSTED all week. I honestly haven't even had the energy to stamp (sad, huh?!?). I can't even tell you how excited I am that tomorrow is Friday...:)
Both your cards are beautiful. I LOVE the border punches you used on the both of the cards. What are the brands and where are they from?
Okay, about the job; DEEP BREATH is right. It's extremely unfortunate that there really isn't anything anyone can do when it comes to layoffs. My hubby's job is dicussing layoffs and something could happen as early as tomorrow....:( :( :( So, just cross your fingers and breathe.

Oh, and I forgot to say. About your BFF; I don't know what is going on, but I'm sure whatever it is will work itself out. It's only been a week and a half, so DON'T give up.

oh yeah - layoffs - I can't work a minute over 8 hours, no raises, and bonuses this year are a no go...I can live without that stuff...just like you though...no job -WTF do I do??
I like these cards. Very cute. Like i said in the swap, my company too is in the same boat as yours. I just read an interesting article in TIME magazine on how to save newspapers. *sigh* I hate this bad economy. I really like the purple card (to change the subject from work). What punch is that?-who makes it. Very cute! Hugs!
