Wooo-Hooo - - Love me some Saturday!

I ain't even gonna comment on my week but to say that I am so glad to have kissed that week goodbye. Been looking forward to today though - opening day of soccer for both kids. K has her game this morning at 9, then she has a birthday party to go to for a B O Y (!!!) and then we have D's game at 4.
Busy, but the perfect family day.

My mother asked me to make some Easter cards for her that she could send to family & friends back in California. However - they had to be able to fit in to a normal envelope with normal postage. Sheesh - just cut off both my hands why don'tcha! So I made her this set of (5) cards - all different, all from scraps (so you probably have seen these styles and DP before) and all very simple.

Now on to the real reason some of y'all are here ;)

Those cards all turned out terrific!!! It's hard sometimes when you get that request for an "easy-to-mail" card. But you did fantastic. And I think the little frog thing is holding up your cards quite well. It looks really neat. And woo-hoo! I'll be sending you my mailing address. Lucky me!

Scraps or not, the cards look great!
Sounds like a fun Sat. I just got home from work, and am off to mail packages. I'd rather be at some little kid soccer games. : )

Congrats Rebecca!
The easter cards are too cute. I know what you mean about the postage and "normal" size envelopes. My grandmother-in-law asked me that about birthday cards. :)
Hugs!
P.S. I do love the copper thing. I need to get me one of those!

I think you did a great job with these cards, considering you had both your 'hands' cut off! *LOL* Seriously, I LOVE these cards. If that were me, I'd be writing in them in pencil and then demanding the people I give them to to give them back to me after they've read it! HAHAHAHA...cuz let's face it...not everyone else really GETS everything that's put into these card babies!
