Happy Sunday! card + pictures

This card reminds me of Prince. Remember that song he did called Paisley Park? I would be surprised if any of you know it actually *giggles* Anywho - I have never used paisley on a card before. But I bought all this paisley stuff at Hobby Lobby in New Mexico and finally sat down and did something with it.

Hey - I'm using one of the 1000 bling brads I have. When I first got in to cardmaking, I bought whacks of everything I thought I would need. As I came in to my own, I found that I don't like a lot of what I bought - - LOL So every now and then I throw in a little something from that abundance of stuff that ain't me. You can pick up the paisley Cuttlebug folder at Jacksonbelle Embellishments by the way.

Here are some birthday pictures. The first one I just think it's funny that we bought him a vacuum cleaner for his birthday. My son is kinda quirky - he's really lovey, cuddly, compassionate, and he loves to vacuum. I saw this vacuum cleaner in of those back-to-school ads for like college students going to their dorms or whatever (I didn't have carpet in my dorm room so I wouldn't have needed this, but anyway...) and they had this bright orange BSU color that would go perfect with the BSU theme of the party, so I bought it for him. It was hands down his favorite present - LOL

And this is a picture of him at his party - notice how mangey his hair was the day before...he needs a haircut, we didn't take him to get one, so I styled his hair with gel so as to not look like a mophead. Check out the BSU football cake I made him - - winner.

Thanks for stopping by - enjoy your Sunday!

First of all, I do remember the Prince song, and I like paisley. I love the contrasting prints on this card.
I can't believe you bought your son a vaccuum cleaner for his 7th b-day. I hope it doesn't do any permanent damage. LOL

The cake turned out fabulous! My niece has one of those little vacuums, and when we go to their house to play, my daughter and my niece spend a lot of time fighting over who gets to vacuum?!?!?

Love the card, too. I like the paisley folder on bottom with the paisley on top. Is the top part a stamp or paper?
