Is it just me or does this fat lil' birdie kinda look like a whale?
Tangent: When I was in college, we had this game night in the dorms, kinda like Jeopardy but I think it was called Tour the Globe or something. Anyway, geography has never been my strong suit so I have no idea how I got up there to play. But I'm doing pretty good with the questions and my floor is gonna win because I'm so smart like that. Then this last question comes. The question was something like Queen Victoria, across the pond, I don't know, and so my friend Heather tries to give me the answer and she's in the front row blowing up her face to tell me the answer is WALES. Ohhhh yes, I have the answer!! - - is it Hungary? I guess you had to be there, but it was pretty funny at the time. Someone else walked away with free Dominos pizza, I got a ghetto little globe keychain.
Speaking of Heather - - I've used here some things she sent me for my birthday: the EK Success border punch and the red crochet thread. I don't know what most people use to tie their buttons, but I love crochet thread because it's thick, it comes in bunches of colors, and you can get a big ol' roll of it for like $4. More Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly paper and chipboard and a lil' Papertrey Ink sentiment.
I hope all you cardmakers are well into your Christmas cardmaking by now!
