Happy Monday!
Hope you had a fabby weekend.
Today I'm sharing some vintage Halloween cards I made with Paper Temptress papers and Crafty Secrets' Cotton Scraps. I bought several sheets of the Cotton Scraps when I first got in to cardmaking and I have to admit that I don't know how to use them well. I see people like Sharon Johnson use them often and make it look effortless, but I've had a heck of a time using them and making them look good.
Both of my cards feature a base of Antique Parchment from Paper Temptress. What I love about her parchment paper is that it's just like regular cardstock - so it's not flimsy like you would think how parchment paper is fragile. This is nice and firm with a parchment look and it's great for all your vintage projects. I've also use some Epic Black Columns paper in there - another rich and sturdy paper with score lines -columns- already done for you which saves you a lot of time when you need texture and don't have time to emboss or to score.

These are fantastic Michelle. The black columns paper does look great, and I love how you did the little tag and the ribbon.
On the second one, I love the little rhintestones around the corner, drawing your eye down to the sentiment. You weren't kidding when you said you've got tons of Halloween cards!
These are 2 of the cutest cards I've seen yet. Love the vintage look of these. Fabulous!
