....you gotta dig potatoes.
Anyone remember that little ditty from the School House Rock days?
Allow me to refresh your memory...:
I live in Idaho - potatoes are our thing. So a couple weeks ago, one of my reps was telling me that she was out late the night before: gleaning potatoes. Now I'm from California and I have no idea what this activity is about, so I asked her. Basically when the farmers are done harvesting the potatoes, there are potatoes left around the edges where the big machines can't go, so instead of letting them go to waste they invite the public to come and dig and take before they re-plow the fields. Pretty cool, eh?
Here's a little harvest blessings sort of card I made featuring some fall flowers from Zva Creative, patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket, some Offray ribbon I received in a birthday swap at SCS, and a sweet lil' Verve sentiment.

Happy Harvest!

This card is stunning! And now I want mashed potatoes.
Glad to finally see the potato pics. Looks like a good time was had by all. Enjoyed the old school ditty, too.
Great card for the fall and the Thanksgiving season.
100 pounds of potatoes! You're gonna be eating a lot of taters!
I love the colors on your card. They match your man's jacket ;) The ribbon is fabulous.
