♥ Happy Valentine's Day, Sweet Girls! ♥
I'm so excited about today for so many reasons: it's Valentine's Day, we're hosting a sweet lil' dinner party tonight, it's the Daytona 500, and - today marks my return to Sunday Pez-A-Doodle (Studio G) posts! After taking a little hiatus and waiting for all the new goodies to come in, I am back today sharing a new Studio G stamp that I {heart} so very much! I've used this
"love you" stamp on both my cards today and it's from the new Spring Holidays pack of stamps. For those of you that make cards for St. Patrick's Day I have to tell you, there are BUNCHES of stamps in this pack for you! I also have in my hot little hands all the new spring Glitter Glues, ink pads and FLOCKING! - - more of that in the weeks to come *wink*
I am still head over heels in love with all the new Prima papers (which are selling out quickly at TwoPeas so if you want them, don't wait!) and I had to pair this beautiful sentiment with these equally beautiful papers. You'll see that I attempted to make a little ribbon rose. That was inspired by my cardmaking BFF Miss Danni Reid. OK, so we're not really BFFs, but she is really sweet and over-the-top talented and represents my style well - I want to be her when I grow up. Anyway, I made one ribbon rose following her tutorial that you'll see very soon and that one looks more like hers, this one was my second one where I decided to just wing it and see what happens - I like!
My second card again features the Prima papers, the same sweet sentiment, and that super fabby sheer ribbon is from Perfectly Pretty.
And what's Valentine's Day without some sugar? I have to show you these amazing handmade marshmallows that I ordered from Cacao. They're big, they're flavorful, they're dreamy, and they got nothin' on store-brand marshmallows. If you ever have the urge to spend frivolously, these are definitely something you have to try just once.
Wishing you a lovely Valentine's Day!
