Go Fly a Kite - day 2.

Happy Thursday, Girls!

I'm continuing today with more cards made with patterned papers from October Afternoon. The fine folks over at OA gave us Clip it Up! girls some of their new Fly a Kite papers and I had the bestest time creating with this line.

On my first card I used a little piece of Prima chipboard because I thought the green went well with the patterned paper, and then I topped that with a Jenni Bowlin embellished butterfly. I've got some Summer Sunrise ribbon and then my sentiment is from Asian Fusion.

On my second card I've got some New Leaf ribbon - I love the freshness that this color brings to a project -, some buttons, and again a sentiment from Asian Fusion.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Oh I am just loving this dp! Both are so springy and fun! I just decided I need that New Leaf color. Too bad I already put my PTI order in. Guess I'll add it to my list for the next time : )

You are making me want Floral Fusion now! What is it that sentiments always look so cool when you add them to your cards?

I have loved the fly a kite series.

Michelle: Your cards are absolutely adorable. Your name caught my attention as my maiden name was Philippi and I have never seen it spelled like that before.I don't know where you live, but I was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and I had relatives in Neenah, Dale, Wisconsin and Arlington Heights, Ill. I live now in Des Plaines, Ill. If you have grandparents, cousins, etc., from those areas could you let me know. My e-mail is jpmolitor@comcast.net. I am also a cardmaker...love it love it love it.
