Happy Sunday to you.
Oh how I hate making sympathy cards. They are probably the most important ones that need to get sent. You can forget a birthday card and make it up, but the sympathy ones, yeah, you gotta get those ones sent out.
My first card is pretty simple - patterned papers and chipboard from Prima.
And my second card features patterned papers by The Girls' Paperie. I'm not sure if this is too fun for a sympathy card, but it sure is pretty.
Wishing you a sweet Sunday.

Very pretty cards, Michelle! Love that Girl's Paperie!!!
These are both beautiful. The second one is more bright and cheery, but I still think it would work for the occasion. I definitely need to get some of these in my stash, because they are not fun to make when actually needed!
Both great cards and they serve a very important purpose. The second card is bright and beautiful, and not "too fun."
Both are gorgeous and I think if I was in need of cheering up, the second one would do it - it's very uplifting.

Both are beautiful. And, depending on the situation, I think there is definitely a place for a "pretty" sympathy card. You did a great job with these. Like Rebecca said, I need to work on some of these cards at my leisure. I can do a birthday card in a crunch, but not a sympathy card.
Both are beautiful sympathy cards. And yes, the 2nd one is sure pretty!
Both cards are pretty Michelle, but really, that second one is cheery! When I have had occasion to get sympathy cards myself, I prefer to get ones that are more cheery, and bring a little light to life in a otherwise hard time.
Great job on both!
Very pretty Michelle...both cards would certainly warm the hearts of those going through a terrible time.
These are both so beautiful, Michelle! I don't think the second is too cheery, it's just pretty! I love the colors!!!
Love the antique feeling of the first card and love the different papers you used on the second....I love the bottons too!!
