Hand-me-downs.

I have such a hard time parting with some of my kids' clothes that they have outgrown. Some things that are of sentimental value and in good condition I've kept to pass down to their children someday. Like my husband's little cowboy vest that his grandmother made him that my son wears now; that'll be nice to pass down. Everything else we just donate to charity. Now that I'm on the craft gig I've been looking at what we call "the poor people pile" and thinking of what I could do with anything there.

Both cards today feature pieces of this little dresscoat that my daughter wore. It's really pretty and it was really spendy and sure I can give it away to charity for someone can get a smokin' deal on it, but no, I tore it up and repurposed it here.

Papertrey Ink cardstock, ribbon and ink; Pink Paislee patterned papers and a Hero Arts stamp.

Just when I think I've seen it all, you go and knock my socks off. I love how you repurposed the dress and am so impressed w/your resourcefulness and creativity. Did the dress go quietly?

Everytime I see you use the butterfly Nesties, I think I need them. Then I always forget before I get to where I can purchase. I love these cards! The softness and the gorgeous pink "repurposing." Fantastic!
