Enjoy time together now.

Um....this is day 3 of repurposing seasonal papers - LOL Totally not planned. But anyway - this fun card again features patterned papers and chipboard from Collage Press' Joyride (Christmas) collection. I totally love that vintage look - reminds me of the smell of old paperback books - anyone know what I'm talkin' about? Enjoy time together now - isn't that the greatest sentiment? It makes me stop and think about all the times I shoo the kids away while I'm making a card. Makes me feel sad/guilty to think about it so I've actually started inviting them to come and play with my papers and stamps more - it's just paper...and ink....; and time spent with the kiddies is far more valuable than those things ever will be.

This card is so fun! Love the buttons added to the O! Fantastic!
Chloe likes to come play alongside me too. She's getting pretty good with my prisma pencils and colouring/shading! It's all fun!

I love the saying, too! My daughter yesterday was carding with me. Well, I wasn't making cards, but she was. She took all my discarded bows and made a card for her dad. It was so sweet! And I totally know what you mean about the smell of books. Enjoy your Friday!!!

LOVE that! I have this collection in an unopened pack, and I have been so sad that it's too late to use it... thanks for the inspo!

...and now you've made me feel bad about shooing my little ones away while I stamp. I need to get my space together so I can set up an area just for them. That would rock my (and their) world!

Great card...as always! ;-)
