Old & new BasicGrey.

Happy Monday, Girls!

I've been having the bestest time playing with my new BasicGrey goodies that I picked up at Archiver's, but I had to share one last (at least for now) card with the old BasicGrey. This first card features patterned papers and chipboard from the Sugar Rush collection. Isn't that cupcake the ca-utest??! I prettied up an already pretty cupcake with some Pink Paislee trim (from Archiver's too) and a button. My 2U is from Pink Paislee as well.

This second card features patterned papers and chipboard from the new Kioshi line. Ohhh I love this line! Now - this card is a little much with those Prima pearls, but I had a little glue accident. I forgot to adhere my ribbon before tying it, and it was glued on the back, so I couldn't move it, so I had to shove some glue under it and it showed through *tears* So I decided to cover it up with the pearls and add butterfly trails. Not my bestest card ever, but I always need little cards (this is a 4x4) to pop in to packages because I hate mailing things off without a little hello. And speaking of a little hello, that little stamp is from Studio G - a sweet little thing, isn't it?

Hope your weeks starts off super fab!

I love how you use chipboard! It's always frightened me and I'm never quite sure what to do with it...lol
I need to start picking up matching chipboard when I buy paper lines. Thanks for the inspiration!

That new paper looks awesome. And I quite like your little butterfly train, and would not have known it was to cover up an ooops, if you hadn't have told. The colors are awesome for spring! And I love what you did with the cupcake. That little ribbon is just a perfect something extra.

As usual, your cards are spectacular. Totally loving all the chipboard, and the second card definitely doesn't look like it came from an oops.

LOVE the first Bascic Grey card! So funny that you call it old, and I don't even have it yet LOL! That cupcake is adorable! Your springy card is just beautiful with all those flowers and butterflies, and I think the pearls look fab! We never would have known about your goof : )
