Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

PTIBlogHopLogo

Hello and thank you for stopping in
along the
Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

The theme for this month's Hop is BUTTONS!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I couldn't not play along this month *giggles* I sort of changed the theme to Hawaiian Shores and buttons as I really wanted to start trying different color matches with Hawaiian Shores.

On my first card I worked some True Black and Pure Poppy with Hawaiian Shores. I used patterned papers from Black & White Basics, Prima chipboard, Making Memories pins that matched perfectly, Hawaiian Shores ribbon, Pure Poppy buttons, and a sentiment from Asian Fusion. Not sure about the Vintage Tea Dye that I inked the edges of the card with - but whatev - LOL

On my second card I went with Raspberry Fizz and used patterned papers from Raspberry Fizz Mix, Prima chipboard, some Hawaiian Shores buttons and the sentiment from Asian Fusion. And do you love that ribbon?? I got this ribbon from Courtney Baker's new shop: Practicing Creativity Designs and it matches Hawaiian Shores perfectly!

I went a little outside the box on my third card and tried Dark Chocolate with Hawaiian Shores. I paired Chocolate Remix patterned papers with some pretty cream eyelet trim that I picked up from A Million Memories, Prima chipboard (it really does go with everything - heh), and Hawaiian Shores ribbon and buttons. I finally got me one of those 2-way glue pens and put a couple of strips of glitter across the top of my card just for a lil' sum-sum up there. Not sure if this one is my most favorite color combinations ever, but I'm all about trying new things - sometimes you hit it, and sometimes you miss it - ha!

Thanks so much for stopping in.
See you on the Hop!
