It's January 2nd - have you started on your Valentine's Day cards yet? Fortunately for me, I made some months ago that I submitted for pub (which were rejected...it happens a lot). Both of these were created for a style challenge call and that was to use brown, red, pink and hearts. These are waaaaaaaaaaaay too clean for me and not so much my style anymore, but hey, 2 cards down and like 20 to go!
This first card I thought it was a neat idea to punch out my heart, place it in between some clear cardstock and then stitch around it. I may try this again - but on a busier card that's more me *wink* Patterned paper is by Jenni Bowlin, cardstock by Paper Temptress, my lil' sentiment is Papertrey Ink and I think that pom pom trim is Bazzill, but don't quote me on that.
This second card I punched out hearts from the Men of Life paper pack (the red circles), and then a lil' piece of Raspberry Fizz, and topped with a heart from the Raspberry Fizz Mix paper pack; my sentiment again is from Heart Prints by Papertrey Ink.

Alrighty - we are leaving St. George and should be in Phoenix by dinner time. I'm so excited to see all the orange & blue all over a foreign town.
Have a good one!

Totally love the stitching on the first card.
Hope the trip is going well.
Love the acetate idea! Can't wait to see what else you create with it! Hope you're having a ball right now! :-)
Super cute! Love the second one w/the heart flower! :)
Too cute! I love those little pompoms!
You can do clean cards! Yes, they might not be your style (which I understand), but you can do it! And do it well I might add.
