What could be better than just a random Friday? Having a Friday with some Love Me Do in it! Now let's talk card....
The image panel on this card was one of the more difficult pieces for me to work with because it only has the ocean blue, the red and the white in it - not the yellow. I didn't want this card to look patriotic, or too dark, so my goal was to brighten it up - by getting the yellow in there. So I cut my image panel ensuring that an entire vignette from the sheet would be seen in the middle of my card, and then stitched around it to add some dimension. Again I went ahead and used the manufacturer's line at the bottom of the sheet because I just love that fun strip of polka dots.
Then I started workin' the yellow in. I used a ric rac diecut strip with yellow and more fun polka dots, then added a Lemon Tart ribbon to my sentiment panel which was another diecut from the kit topped with a little piece that I stamped; and then punched out some fun hearts making sure one was yellow. I topped my little yellow heart with a punched out a circle topped with an epoxy dome circle sticker.
I'd be curious to know - do you like these kind of series things that I do...or do you get sick of them after a few days?

You did a fab job working yellow into this card! I love pops of colour like that! Series cards are always cool. I don't have patience to save them each day though...lol I always end up posting multiple cards.
I don't get sick of them at all. Especially when they are so bright and cheery! Not that you've ever done a series of gloom and doom cards. lol!
Love the series cards. The umbrellas are still my favorite. Really enjoy the ric rac - it takes me back.

I think that these colors are so not valentine - but so are...i mean the blue and yellod I would have never thought to use!
This is my favorite of the series! Maybe it's the sewing LOL :) I LOVE that sweet image/tag with the be mine, and the ribbon. I think your series cards are a lot of fun!
