Love Me Do - day 5.

We're over the hump and nearing the end of the Love Me Do series *tears*

Today I've got a bright little Lemon Tart card to share with you that features the other piece of that scrapbooking sheet I mentioned earlier in the series. It was a sheet with one large image - so I cut it up and here I have the flourish-like thingies in the background. Now in the very background I covered my cardfront with a big piece of lace that I picked up from A Million Memories. The cloud, the little photo corner and the birdies are all diecuts from the kit. See those little aqua polka dots at the bottom? Those are from the manufacturer's line on the edge of the paper - who says you can't use that part too? I tied some red crochet thread around the bottom and then finished the card off with....wait for it....wait for it....vintage buttons! *giggles*

A sidenote on vintage buttons: one of my buttons said BUM Equipment on it. I used to have several pieces of BUM Equipment clothes back in college. And now their buttons are being used in a vintage button collection? That's most definitely a "you know you're old when..." thing right there...

BUM and vintage. That is funny!!! The colors in your little Love Me Do collection are so cheery. I've loved seeing them, but it has me wishing for tulips!

Love the button - takes me back...love the large size of the burds too - it pulls them out and makes them pop out at 'cha!
